Those Information Technology projects that are determined by the Washington State Office Of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) under “OCIO Policy 121 -IT Investments -Approval and Oversight” as being “Under Project Oversight” are required to have an Independent Project Quality Assurance Practitioner (as specified in “OCIO Policy 132 – Project Quality Assurance” and its associated Standards), assigned for the life of the project. Scope of Work As specified in OCIO Policy 132, Project Quality Assurance, the Project Quality Assurance Practitioner assigned to each potential project will minimally be required to develop and present: • The initial project Readiness Assessment Upon OCIO approval of the specific Project, the remaining deliverables include: • The formal, baseline Quality Assurance Plan • Attendance at such meetings and work locations required to support the creation of the mandated Quality Assurance Monthly Report and such findings and recommendations as required • Draft and Final versions of the Quality Assurance Monthly Reports, including findings and recommendations over the life of the project • Updates to the OCIOs Project Dashboard website • Participation in Technology Service Board (TSB) or subcommittee meetings, or other external oversight briefings as required • The final Closeout Report upon project completion Mandatory Skills: The Information Technology Quality Assurance Practitioner has recent (within the past five years) experience successfully performing the Information Technology Project QA activities outlined in the Minimum Project Quality Assurance Activities Standard , OR The Information Technology Quality Assurance Practitioner has recent (within the past five years) experience as a lead or deputy project manager providing the successful project management services including the activities outlined in the Minimum Project Quality Assurance Activities Standard ,1 OR The Information Technology Quality Assurance Practitioner has a combination of prior Information Technology Project Quality Assurance or Information Technology Project Management experience totaling five (5) or more years, AND The Information Technology Quality Assurance Practitioner must have provided these services on information technology (IT) projects of similar or greater size, risk, and complexity when compared to the project being undertaken. The Information Technology Quality Assurance Practitioner must have prior experience in creating the mandatory Project Quality Assurance Deliverables. The Information Technology Quality Assurance Practitioner has knowledge of, and experience in compliance with, the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) Policy 132 – Providing Quality Assurance. 3.
