IT Project Management Oral And Written Communication Fast Paced Environment Manager   Requirement id 118444 Job title Manager Job location in Columbus, OH Skills required Bachelors Degree, IT Project Management, Business Development, Oral And Written Communication Fast Pace Open Date 10-Aug-2021 Close Date Job type Contract Duration 10 Months Compensation DOE Status requirement --- Job interview type --- Apply    Email Recruiter: coolsoft Job Description Manager: Bachelors Degree, IT Project Management, Business Development, Oral And Written Communication Fast Pace Note: * Interview:Phone or video call * Our Client in Columbus, Ohio is seeking an experienced Sr. Project/Program Manager for a long-term contract role * CANDIDATES MUST BE LOCAL TO CENTRAL OHIO OR RELOCATED BY DAY ONE FOR CONSIDERATION Responsibilities: • Provides project oversight ensuring that Department ITS and contracted vendors meet their commitments to bring the project in on time and within budget and scope. • Collaborates and coordinates effort with Department PMO and system vendor project managers in managing Department projects, monitoring, tracking, and reporting project progress when appropriate. • Provides overall direction, guidance, communication, and facilitation of assigned projects, including working with cross-functional teams at Department, contracted vendor and external stakeholders (as required). • Creates, executes, and updates project plans and maintains all project documentation. • Manages project risks and issues and oversees supporting processes including change management. • Schedules and facilitates meetings with business stakeholders (Department, other entities, external entity users), Department ITS, and/or external system vendors. • Coordinates and manages work of both technical and business workstreams. • Manages, coordinates, communicates, and establishes priorities for complete life cycle of projects including the planning, requirements gathering, design, building, configuration, testing, training, and implementation of systems/solutions. • Designs project plans, which identify needs and define major tasks and milestones, based on scope, resources, budget, and personnel. • Collaborate with Department PMO to establish project/program practices, templates, policies, tools, and partnerships to expand and mature these capabilities for the organization. • Manages all aspects of multiple related projects to ensure the overall program is aligned to and directly supports the achievement of strategic objectives. • Other project management and coordination duties as assigned.
