The Project Manager is responsible for assembling project team, assigning individual responsibilities, identifying appropriate resources needed, and developing schedules to ensure timely completion of project. In order to effectively coordinate the activities of the team, the Project Manager must be familiar with system scope and project objectives, as well as the role and function of each team member. The Project Manager operates under general management supervision. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Manage all aspects of projects from requirements definition to post-implementation support, using industry standards and best practices. Oversee existing Agile processes and work to mature their delivery. Lead daily scrum among teams. Manage 2-week sprint schedule, planning and commitment processes. Monitor and report progress of the projects to management, proactively identifying any project risks or issues and escalating them when appropriate. Prepare and publish a status report in intervals throughout the lifecycle of projects. Resolve implementation issues to achieve a successful release and resolve post release issues to ensure a successful stabilization phase. Guide project teams to find solutions that are effective and meet business needs. Develop expertise on industry trends and the IT ecosystem to improve project management policies and procedures. Help team understand Scrum theory, practices, rules and values. Ensure that goals, scope, and product domain are understood by Scrum Team Helping the Development Team create high-value products. Leading and coaching the organization in its Scrum adoption. Willingness and ability to incorporate other Agile / project management methodologies as needed QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
