Apply knowledge of Section 508 accessibility guidelines to develop source documents and produce Section 508-compliant documents and forms. Help develop public-facing documentation and online content in accordance with Section 508 accessibility guidelines and other NLM requirements. Assist NLM staff to develop and create publications such as user manuals, reports, presentations, online content, and flowcharts. Analyze NLM workflows and processes and create related documents and flowcharts. Organize and manage a shared document repository for OCCS. Work with NLM staff to update content and links for the NLM Intranet. Work with NLM staff and Service Owners to review, update, and approve documentation for publication, using version control and tracked changes. Work with the Change Manager on documentation and naming conventions required for Standard Changes. Assist NLM staff with adhering to standard American English syntax, grammar, and punctuation. Qualifications: Expertise in using NLM standard software, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and SharePoint. Expertise in Section 508 accessibility guidelines. Expertise in creating source documents and using Adobe Acrobat Pro to produce Section 508-compliant documents. Expertise in Section 508-compliant interactive forms design and development.
