Job Description Analyst: Implementation, Multi Tasking Skills, Problem Management, System Analysis Programming Experience

Job Description:
? Under general supervision, analyze and determine conversion requirements and provide conversion specifications to programming.
? Provide consultation to the client before, during and after conversion, including the development of new department procedures the conversion may necessitate.
? Interpret clients existing systems and workflows through and including the balancing of conversion data.
? Communicate progress and any potential problems to manager for awareness and/or resolution.
? Maintain the tools used to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of the conversion process (system studies, questionnaires).
? Provide training to the client before, during and after conversion, including the correct use of the Fiserv system and on-line terminal assistance, as well as daily application balancing procedures.

Experience Required:
1-3 years programming/systems analysis in the financial services or personalization industry.
Skills Desired: ? Uses limited independent judgment to make decisions based on precedents and established guidelines.
? Solves problems using standard procedures and precedents
? Knows when to refer issues to supervisor and when to handle them
? Has knowledge of a specific trade, technical function, and/or a professional discipline. May help less experienced personnel.
? Has an overall understanding and working knowledge of the organization, work environment and process.

Education Required: BS in Computer Science, EE or equivalent

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Perform broad and challenging professional implementation tasks to ensure implementation projects for new and existing clients are processed expeditiously and accurately. Satisfactory performance requires considerable implementation and conversion skills and very good knowledge of implementation technology and methodology.
? On-going performance of multi-tasks requires dedication and focused concentration for extended time periods.
? Problem solving is required and on-going and requires analysis and evaluation to resolve issues.
? Work independently of supervisory and technical help except for first time very difficult assignments.
? Work from oral or written instructions and a variety of somewhat complex job specifications and misc. documents --- all in English.
? Coach, cross-train, train, assist, and in general help others as assigned.
? Occasionally all necessary work information is not available and must be developed by the incumbent.
? Physical requirements include walking, standing, sitting, and the use of hands to process work and use keyboard.
? May on occasion exert or lift up to 25 lbs. Successful performance requires good vision abilities including close vision.
? Applies some influence on resources in the form of general recommendations limited to affects on own position.
? Understand aspects of the application that are pertinent to the ability to define client solutions.
? Utilize technical tools made available for the purpose of building and maintaining solutions.
