The Senior D\A will be required to communicate with business users regarding requirements, design reviews and prototype presentations. Additional supporting information: * May require one on one interaction with the business users. * Will provide technical design for the project. * Perform code reviews. * Estimate project work. Review project estimates of team members. * Assist Project Manager in finalizing project schedule. * Will NOT manage people. * Assist in the technical direction of the project and ensure technical quality of the code delivered. ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS: * At least 4+ years of experience with J2EE/Java. * 4+ years of experience with ILog JRules modules. * Excellent analystical\problem solving skills. * Experience with the following tools\technologies or equivalent: J2EE/Java JPA/Hibernate XML Webservices Websphere application server Junit/XMLUnit Experience with the version 6 or 7 of ILogs JRules modules : Rules Studio, RTS (Rule Team Server), Decision Validation Service, RES Ability to debug complex rules in JRules. Understand and optimize various parameters of JRules execution engine to speed up the performance of Rules running in JRules. * Knowledge of relational database structure and design. * Experience with Oracle databases is preferred. * Ability to create and modify SQL queries. Analytical\Business: * Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills * Excellent skills and considerable experience with analyzing requirements and developing application designs. * Ability to develop accurate estimates and assist other team members with the estimation process. * Experience in interfacing with business users.
