Knowledge and experience developing Java J2EE apps for the Glassfish or other similar platforms Solid understanding of web services, message driven beans, XML, entity classes and persistence with SQL databases as well as basic knowledge of writing queries, and stored procedures in SQL. They should also be familiar with the Netbeans IDE. Good written and communication skills, and the ability to work in a dynamic work environment is required. The ability to support 24x7 on call may be required in this position. It is normally on a rotating basis with other team members. Experience Preferred: Experience of the full software development lifecycle: from business / systems analysis, through requirements gathering, documentation of specifications, development, testing and delivery is desired. An ideal candidate would also have some experience writing JSP or JSF web applications, a good understanding of JavaScript.
