Works using SDLC process including Production Support activites including handling Incidents and Change requests in Service Now. Should work independently with minimum supervision. Will be responsible for developing and executing project development plans, as well as coordinating groups of IT staff. Will need to be able to document technical design including charting and detailed specs. Draws on extensive knowledge base (e.g., infrastructure, technology, and applications) to analyze problems of the greatest complexity and contribute to troubleshooting efforts. Leverages excellent design understanding and/or capabilities (e.g., database, application code, reusable objects, and interfaces) to optimize development efforts in a distributed environment. Required education/experience: Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. 8 plus years of IT work experience in systems programming / analysis Typically experienced across multiple Information Technology areas and all system / applications software development. Responsible for executing project development plans, as well as coordinating groups of IT staff. Strong experience required in J2EE and Spring Framework solutioning. Prefer experience with MQ, multi-threading and other related technologies. Should possess good communication skills and be able to articulate thoughts to a group of people, especially over the phone, since this project has a virtual team. Job Purpose/ Description: Develops using an OOP language - Java in a J2EE environment. Develops solutions using the Spring Framework building web services and batch components. Develops rounded solutions utilizing perpheral technologies like MQ, Mobius, Autosys, NDM, OBIEE etc Translates business requirements into functional / technical specifications; Evaluates and implements new initiatives on process improvement and technology initiatives. Excels at analyzing functional needs that drive the analysis and technical design of quality technical solutions; recommends solutions that are aligned with business / IT strategies and complies with corporate architectural standards. Serves as SME in all aspects of systems / applications software technology and / or application components. Resolves application and technical problems of high complexity. Participates in interdepartmental or interdivisional operational project initiatives. Analyzes performance and capacity issues of the highest complexity with systems / applications software and/or application components. Excels at working collaboratively with IT staff on development, troubleshooting, and other technical efforts.
