Solve complex production issues Interact with business team to define the business requirements and scope for a given work stream Lead a group of Software Developers to define and drive software engineering best practices for successful software development, using Agile methodologies and design patterns Work collaboratively with Business Owners, Architects, Infrastructure and Quality groups to ensure deliverables meet requirements and quality standards Track delivery team status, identify, raise and mitigate issues and risks Ensure development team is following development best practices, conduct design and code reviews as appropriate through life cycle Measure and improve team velocity through continuous improvements to process and/or technology Identify strengths and weaknesses of team members, and utilize resources appropriately Software tools/skills are needed to perform these daily responsibilities: Spring 2.5+, Hibernate 3.5+, and Webservices [at least one of CXF, Axis, or Jersey] experience 2+ years Unix and/or Linux experience Experience delivering web-based technology solutions to meet business needs   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
