This individual will provide technical leadership and guidance in terms of designing, development and support of the application. Leadership Responsibility: Has responsibility and accountability for successfully delivering changes to accounting sub-ledger. Major / Key Activities: Review current application and propose design changes to meet requirements. Work with Business Analysts to develop business requirements Analyze requirements and translate them into detailed system design. Develop procedures/triggers/J2EE code in support of application development. Perform system performance reviews and optimize system. Troubleshoot n-tier system issues. Debug system failures and correct root cause. Perform requirements traceability analysis and add test cases to cover gaps. Automate and standardize periodic reports. Document and communicate issues Support Governance and Status Reports to the EIM Program and the BHC Management for project status and tollgates Essential Skills/Knowledge SQL Server 2008 / SSIS Proficient in writing and optimizing T-SQL code and stored procedures Strong Object-oriented analysis and design skills Proficient with Adobe Flex and user interface design using the Adobe Flex stack (MXML, Actionscript 3, BlazeDS, Swiz framework) Java 5 / J2EE technologies. Strong working knowledge of the J2EE architecture Strong experience with a J2EE web container e.g. Weblogic, Websphere XML manipulation using XSLT and XPath. Knowledge of JAXB or JDOM or equivalent Experience with a MVC Controller. Spring MVC or equivalent. Experience with an OR-Mapping framework e.g. Hibernate Interactive User interface design/development with Flex 3, ActionScript 3.0, MXML, BlazeDS Object oriented JavaScript: Knowledge of any JS framework like ExtJs, Dojo, Prototype Eclipse IDE experience Ant or Maven experience Agile Development: Experience with Agile/RAD type environments Familiar with Test-driven and continuous integration development approaches Understanding of OLAP and data warehouse designs Ability to self-start and support projects through full-life cycle Excellent written and oral communication skills Proven track record of delivering IT projects Preferred Skills/Knowledge Capital Markets/Treasury Accounting Background Experience delivering projects in a Banking/Financial Services organization Technical IT skill set Competencies: Personal Integrity Customer / Operational / Business Focus Open communication style / Good listener Team focused Effective time management with ability to work with tight deadlines Analytical thinking/decision making Excellent written and verbal presentation skills Core skills in Managing Conflict and effective Negotiation Education and / or Training Minimum of 5 years of experience working with J2EE technologies, minimum 1-2 years experience with Adbobe Flex Minimum of 5 years experience in Information Technology Minimum of 5 years business/industry knowledge (preferred) Key Performance Measures: Provision of on-time and on-budget deliverables and delivery of business benefits Positive feedback from relevant business and ITG sponsors Adherence to the prevailing processes, standards and methodologies   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
