This position involves all aspects of designing and developing application systems and developing requirements and design specifications for new and existing applications. Scripting is a plus * Ability to scrutinize applications and services to ensure they adhere to security standards * Working experience building Internet scale distributed systems or high volume client/server systems * Ability to work both independently and as part of a team * Interact with other key project designers participating in project-wide design and procedures decisions * Assist in defining development procedures * Analyze, discover, document, and communicate design options for implementing analysis specifications * Ability to communicate precisely and clearly, in both spoken and written English * Good problem solving skills * Maintain and enhance existing services, applications, and platforms including, but not limited to, bug fixes, feature enhancements and performance tuning * Troubleshoot and debug complex issues; identify and implement solutions * Ensure tasks and projects are completed on time and within scope * Strong technical, analytical, problem solving and decision making skills * Ability to be flexible and focused to deliver products with different priorities and timelines * Work closely with software architects to ensure decisions meet long-term enterprise needs * Analyze system requirements, design, and document solutions using specified tools and methodologies * Experience with Agile development methods required * Interface with management, business analysts, project managers, IT Architects and other developers, along with internal customers, to understand requirements and develop needs according to business requirements * Work with production operations department to ensure deployments roll out smoothly and customers receive appropriate support * Research and implement new technologies to enhance current processes, security and performance * Document software designs * Develop and enforce policy and procedural changes within the development group * Develop coding standards and adhere to best pr   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
