By hiring the best people and helping them grow both professionally and personally, we ensure a bright future for NTT DATA and for the people who work here. - Strong working knowledge of the mainframe environment, including proficiency and skill in z/OS, TSO/ISPF, JCL, COBOL, CICS, VSAM, REXX - Mainframe DBA - Database creation and Maintenance along with backups and DB2 support - Review and evaluate current installation of DB2. - Review Hold Data - Evaluate Upgrade Prerequisites - Develop Implementation Plan - Configure Sandbox Database for use by staff (including configuration of test CICS region) - Review and remediate known upgrade requirements such as: converting DBRM based plans, and plans not using DRDA protocol, etc) - Create JCL needed to perform DB2 migration, failback, and verification for each DB2 instance - Experience managing and tuning static SQL and dynamic SQL environments - Analyze subsystem performance using Omegamon - Optimize current poorly performing DB2 components - Optimize CICS region performance for all CICS regions - DB2 for z/OS performance monitoring and tuning. - Hands on experience on DB2 V10 and above - Strong working knowledge in z/OS. Be responsible for the integrity of Production, Test and QA database environments. - Completes specific team task activities as outlined in the project work plan and other job-related duties as assigned. - Maintains close coordination with the Analysts at various geo locations with respect to the status of tickets, issues etc - Experience in supporting large RDBMS systems - Mainframe System administration : Environment – MVS, TSO, OS/400 o Language – COBOL, RPG, PL/I,ASSEMBLER, Natural, COOLGEN o File Management – DB2, VSAM, o TP – CICS o Standard Tools Qualifications: 3 to 5 years of experience in:- Mainframe - z/OS, TSO/ISPF, JCL, COBOL, CICS, VSAM, REXX DB2 DBA   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
