Experience must be current in the last 12 months. ? Must have seven- (7) years or more of programming experience in Mainframe based applications built with COBOL, JCL, DB2 and VSAM. Experience must be current in the last 12 months. ? At least two (2) years experience with JCL using Symbolics and Condition Codes is a plus. Experience must be current in the last 12 months. ? At least two (2) years experience working in an established Testing environment for a large complex application. This would include maintaining the environment and executing jobs/cycles as requested by staff. Experience must be current in the last 12 months. ? Must have five- (5) years or more of working with IBM Utilities and TSO/ISPF. Experience must be current in the last 12 months. ? Must have five- (5) years or more working with various Mainframe file and data manipulation tools such as File Aid, Platinum, Sync Sort, QMF and SPUFI. Experience must be current in the last 12 months. ? Must have five- (5) years or more working with the full lifecycle software development experience. Software development experience must be current in the last 12 months and must be in support of a large-scale, complex application system. ? Must have five- (5) years or more experience with relational databases, including logical design, understanding of physical design components, and complex SQL accessing a large, complex application database (on the order of 200+ tables, 1500+ columns, 200+ relationships, 200+ million rows). Experience must be current in the last 12 months. ? Experience with researching and resolving job and program abend issues of a large, complex application including the ability to resolve problems in constrained timeframes and using structured procedures and guidelines. ? Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to gather and provide information effectively, regardless of audience. ? Must be able to work well within a team environment and have exceptional collaborative skills. Must be service oriented with strong interpersonal skills with all levels of business and technical staff. ? Must be able to use analytical skills to provide solutions to business and technical staff requests in an efficient manner. ? Must be able to use existing technical documentation for testing requests as well as create or review new or changed technical documentation for accuracy and functionality. ? Must have good overall PC skills including the use of Microsoft Office products ? Strong organization, planning, problem solving, and decision making skills. Comfortable prioritizing and managing multiple tasks. ? Must be a self-starter and self-motivated. Must be able to quickly learn and apply new technology. Preferred: ? Bachelors degree in IT related field of study. ? Experience working as part of a large (40+) software development team using structured procedures and guidelines. ? At least two (2) years experience using Network Data Mover (NDM) or Secure File Transfer protocol (SFTP) is a plus. ?
