Lead a matrixed team of approximately 20 application developers and business analysts in the planning, execution and control of multiple concurrent projects. Create and execute detailed project plans. Mange project quality, cost, schedule, resources, issues and risks. Prepare periodic project progress reports. Coordinate activities across teams among multiple stakeholders. Qualifications/Requiredexperience Solid experience in planning and managing mid-sized application software development projects. Excellent oral and written communications kills to articulate technical or operational problems into understandable business terms appropriate for the audience. Must be self-motivated, able to work independently with little guidance and able to lead and motivate a team. Experience using agile development methods and ability to quickly adapt to changing client needs. Experience in writing responses to task orders, managing a federal technical contract of similar complexity (including hiring systems/software experts) Proficient in the use of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio Working knowledge of agile software development using Scrum PMP and/or Certified ScrumMaster certifications are preferred Working within an Agile environment Prior technical experience with Java EE,JSF, JSP, portlets development is a plus, but not required Education/Certification/ Knowledge Bachelors Degree required (computer science, information systems, business major preferred) Minimum 3+ years experience in planning and leading software development projects using multiple software development life cycle methodologies Minimum 3+ years experience applying project management principles and tools Knowledge of the Identity Management or Entitlements and Benefits business domains is a plus, but not required Knowledge / Experience with the Department of Defense or healthcare a plus, but not required   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
