The selected Java Developers will provide maintenance of existing applications for Marketing applications which run on SQL Server. The developers will need to read and develop stored procedures. Jaxb is being used to communicate with external customers. There will be heavy usage of Spring framework, however, the client is willing to train someone with intermediate knowledge of Spring. The majority of the work will be on the backend with little work on the User Interface. This team is moving toward six week Agile sprints. Experience with json, XML, ajax and jquery is also beneficial as is Web Services. Environment: Java 1.6, Spring framework, SQL Server. Hibernate is used to connect to the database and write queries against Hibernate. Rest Services are being used to integrate the applications with other systems which are written in .Net and they call them through Java.
