Job Description : JOB SUMMARY The candidate chosen for this position will assist in the resolution of existing issues for a Documentum D2/AO environment. The candidates mission is to work as part of an in-house content management team to provide issue closure on as many issues as time allows. The candidate will need to leverage existing in-depth knowledge and experience for Documentum D2, Documentum Asset Operations, as well as backend Documentum technologies such as Content Server and xPlore. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide advice, recommendations, and perform necessary tasks of the Documentum environment. Partner with solution owners, developers, and other IT support personnel to help troubleshoot, identify, and resolve production issues Work with clients, peers and other IT organizations to gather requirements, assess needs, investigate options, and recommend appropriate solutions Design and implement recommended solutions Perform peer design and implementation reviews. Propose, design, review, and implement task automation wherever possible. Learn the system configuration, internals, and administrative features and be responsible for evaluating, testing, and implementing any changes at those levels. Stay current on upcoming features/upgrades/trends and evaluate and implement them as appropriate to keep the system current and optimized Evaluate and implement necessary add-on components Develop, endorse, and enforce guidelines and standards for product usage and solution development JOB REQUIREMENTS: Education 4-year degree in Computer Science or a related field Experience Experience with SQL and/or Oracle databases is required Experience with Java is required. Experience with software development technologies, methodologies and associated tools required. Experience with upgrading Documentum D2/AO is highly desired. 7 or more years experience using, supporting, and/or developing against Documentum and relevant customizations are preferred. 3 or more years experience with Documentum D2 is desired. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Ability to diagnose and resolve client problems within service level time frames. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to function independently and as a team member. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to learn new technologies quickly and apply them. Strong customer service skills. Ability to handle multiple assignments and changing priorities. Ability to work effectively with limited direct supervision. Understanding of the Documentum object model and architecture would be beneficial. DFC/WDK programming skills would be beneficial.
