Responsibilities: This position will be on an Agile scrum team focused primarily on Java and Spring based applications (limited front-end exposure). Expectation is that candidate will be able to work within an agile methodology on a self-managed team. Working with our business partners to ensure Application Development staff is focusing on the right work at the right time. Creating Java application designs that mesh with our architectural guidelines and best practices. Coaching and mentoring other development staff on designs and coding best practices. Will need to coordinate tasks with scrum team members and effectively communicate statuses and roadblocks. Technical skills critical to this need include Java, Spring MVC, Maven, Java Batch, RESTful services, Spring, SQL, JMS, and JSF. Must be able to demonstrate how these skills were applied with previous assignments.
