This position will report to the Web Applications Development Supervisor at the Office of CIO. The individual will receive directions from the lead developer of the project, or directly from customers. The individual will plan, analyze, design, and develop on one or more applications. The individual must be able to communicate well with technical team members, business users, and management. Any experience working with Corrections at Federal, State or local level is desirable. Java, Programming & Testing: MUST HAVE the following: (Note: only count towards experience if used on a previous or current client development project.) • At least 5 years Java • At least 5 years software development experience • At least 2 years of Eclipse IDE Responsible for performing, and providing assistance in, the following activities: • Develop and debug application code • Design java classes • Conduct unit, integration, and customer acceptance testing • Prepare code and application documentation Front-End Development: MUST HAVE the following: (Note: only count towards experience if used on a previous or current client development project.) • At least 5 years HTML • At least 2 years extensive UI development Skills: MUST HAVE the following: (Note: only count towards experience if used on a previous or current client development project.) • At least 3 years Hibernate, Spring and JSF • At least 2 years Ajax, Facelets, Javascript and CSS • At least 1 year jQuery Relational Database: MUST HAVE the following: (Note: only count towards experience if used on a previous or current client development project.) • At least 5 years working with relational databases.
