Job Description: Mid- Senior Java Developer We are seeking a Senior-level Java Application Developer to be responsible for delivery of Commercial Payments capabilities for Commercial Business. In this position, the successful candidate will design and implement complex IT solutions that is in line with the enterprise architecture roadmap. Will deliver well designed quality software in a fast-paced agile environment. Will work on a scrum team from all disciplines to ensure successful delivery of solutions that add value to the products and achieve business objectives. • Will analyze, design, and develop technical solutions based upon user specifications. • Will build required expertise in vendor solutions to architect integration solutions with other systems; work with vendor solution architects to define design and implementation artifacts; manage proper tracking of enhancements and deployment to deliver on product value • Will be working on vendor solutions and their complex integrations with other systems via MQ, Rest and SOAP calls • Will be working on analyzing product issues reported by customers in production; these issues can span multiple systems and will require successful coordination with multiple teams to resolve the issues • Will be asked to provide development estimates based on project scope. • Will show drive and interest in learning new systems, applications, technologies and most importantly business domains. • May assist with identifying training needs. • Will assist in code reviews, architecting and designing integration solutions Basic Qualifications: • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related technical field • Min 5-7 years of experience in the software development field including demonstrated experience with Java as a programming platform to develop web-based applications. Requirements: • 6+ years of hands on software development experience in Java • 6+ years of experience in Java, Spring framework • 3+ years of Hibernate Framework and Relational Database experience • Experience in Integration with SOAP based Services • Experience in Integration with MQ • 3+ years of professional experience in supervising or leading junior developers in the team • Possess experience in Unit Testing frameworks such as Junit • Must demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, focus on customer service and the ability to work well with other IT, vendor and business groups.
