The current Child Care Licensing application will need modifications to provide the following features and support: • Optimizing the provider portal to allow facilities to enter and access required information such as facility changes, training, inspections, and fees. • Optimizing the provider portal to allow facilities to enter and update covered individual roles, and to associate individuals who have passed a background screening to their facilities. This is part of the federal requirement that asks for the program to expedite the background screening process. • Manage inspections to new facility types. This will be for license exempt facilities under DWS rules that Child Care Licensing will be inspecting. • Generate reports and send those reports to providers. • Generate training reports. • Fix current bugs and improve reporting processes. This is especially needed for the reports we send to eRep and Uworks as required by our contract with DWS. • Create and manage electronic inspections checklists. • Add inspection alerts and other task alerts needed to communicate with DWS caseworker database users. • Enhance the database roles to provide customer help with the new provider portal. • Provide continuing maintenance and enhancements as required by the program and by Federal oversight.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
