Client: MoneyGram Manager: John Goetz BR: 80, could flex for the right person They will start off being on the DCA Project – the system that manages transactional receipts and removing them into the cloud and what we want to do is able to create digital versions of all the receipts instead of having print them out (using electronic signatures on receipts) and not print off paper anymore. They need to be retrievable by agents for then they are asked for them and then stored for a certain period of time. They are currently in development (the overall project has been around for years) – they have an architect involved that has design the solution and a couple of developers already engaged but wants to bring on additional resources to help speed it along -could go through the end of the year and then float to another project We have development QA and external and production – all the work will be done in the QA and Dev. Environment Agile methodology – SCRUM – code goes into production (up to the team and product owner) but by weekly sprints Java 1.8, Spring Boot, Maven – all backend development Looking for a mid-level resource – heads down developer Really would like to have someone that is an AWS solutions architect -certification is HIGHLY preferred but needs to have deployed to the cloud (that is fine) -cant guaranteed work UI work -for this project, .NET is not being use (but if it gets done early, they could help on other .NET projects) -all developers test their own code BEFORE it goes to QA (must be able to create their own test environment and scripts) – Selenium (not required) -using Bitbucket for source control (any source control would be fine) We are all working from home – but wants the resource in Minneapolis (going in is optional) Process: Phone with another Director Level Person, the Architect and one of the developer (30 minutes) – additional steps depend on how well the 30 minute phone interview goes No interviews set up (has a few resumes received already that he is reviewing) He has spoken to another vendor (but is just getting resumes through Beeline) Submit into Beeline and then sent the John an email with the names so he can pick them out Screening Topics: Java AWS – General Sprint OR you can choose Spring Boot options Experience • 4-6 years of increasingly responsible systems development experience using Java in an Agile environment. • Deeper knowledge/hands-on experience in using Java development tools and technologies are a must (Java, Spring Boot, Maven/Gradle, Junit etc.) • AWS Developer / Solutions Architect Certification is preferred. • Knowledge of Angular, C# and .NET. a plus.
