This position will focus on coordinating and managing human resources, communication across a variety of technical and business stakeholder teams throughout the organization, status reporting to management and working with the Portfolio Management Office for scheduling and finances. Essential Responsibilities and Duties Project Planning Creation of a formal project charter and tactical plans defining scope, tasks, deliverables, and goals for Corporate Initiatives. Identification and engagement of key project stakeholders. Planning and prioritization of tasks with input obtained from Information Security and project stakeholders. Assuring all roles and responsibilities are clearly documented and assigned to specific project teams with definitive dates assigned to key tasks and milestones. Ensuring all stakeholders associated with the project have the same understanding of the project, the tasks to be accomplished, and its desired outcomes before and during the project. Addressing any gaps in stakeholder understanding of project tasks, goals, and deliverables. Project Execution Continuous measurement of defined project tasks and milestones against actual activities with regular communication to stakeholders and executive management. Ensuring project deliverables occur on time and within planned budget via execution of the projects plan and in depth knowledge of security vulnerability assessments and penetration tests. Monitoring cost and performance metrics and reporting deviations to the projects business and executive sponsorship, including documentation, report generation, dashboards, presentation of key metrics, remediation plans, and follow-up. Performing and/or assisting in problem resolution, recommending alternative techniques or mitigation strategies, and providing guidance to the stakeholder areas responsible for remediation tasks or gap closure. Periodic evaluation of project deliverables to ensure quality activities are being delivered, desired remediation efforts are effective, and ensuring the deliverables address the projects as well as the organizations goals. Proactively identifying project risks and issues and appropriately addressing these items to prevent project problems from occurring. Managing any necessary changes in project scope, budget, or schedule using the companys formal project change control processes. Providing technical expertise, support, and guidance for relevant technical teams as appropriate. Reviewing and implementing Information Security standards, procedures, and guidelines for multiple systems and platforms in a diverse systems environment, in support of Information Security goals and directives with recommendations made for change as appropriate. Responsible for all project closure and warranty tasks. Skills and Abilities Demonstrated experience in managing large, cross-departmental, cross-matrix projects in a technical environment. Ensure project goals and tasks are in alignment with relevant standards such as HIPAA, SOX, HITECH, GLBA, and PCI DSS. Knowledge of security frameworks (.NET, Java, service oriented architecture, etc.). Knowledge of network security technologies, server and network engineering, system and network security, authentication and security protocols, cryptography, source code review, and application development and security.
