RESPONSIBILITIES:1. Perform somewhat complex product design, system analysis, and programming activities which may require some research.2. Assist with design, implementation and maintenance of single product modules/sub-systems or on lower level issues of multiple products.3. Prepare technical documentation of product sub-systems.4. Conduct the unit & integration testing for functionality and limits.5. Perform somewhat complex bug verification, release testing and beta support for assigned products. 6. Research problems discovered by QA or product support and develop solutions to the problems.7. Research and understand the marketing requirements for a product, including target environment, performance criteria and competitive issues.REQUIREMENTS:Education Required * Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent.Experience Required* Less than two years experience in software development.Skills and Knowledge Required* General technical knowledge in software development methodologies, design and implementation. * General analytical and design skills at single product/single environment level. * General skills in research, project planning and implementation. * General understanding of entire development process, including specification, documentation and quality assurance. * General awareness of business issues as they impact overall project plans. * Good communication and interpersonal skills. * Good PC skills. * PCs and various software applications. * Familiarity with CASE tools products.Working Conditions* General office environment* Stressful situations may occur occasionally * No special physical requirement* Occasional travel required (less than 10%) Job Responsibilities • Under general supervision, gain a full technical and functional understanding of online billing and payment applications to address issues and drive improvements. • Technical investigation, diagnoses, troubleshooting and supporting multiple front end and middle layer applications for online billing and payment processing using Java technology. • Use technical and problem-solving skills to develop small to large enhancements to the existing products. Scope, design, develop and implement product enhancements and implementations. • Participate in the development of audience-appropriate documentation for internal and external stakeholders. • Interact with various internal teams to understand the business requirements and provide solutions. • Work with enterprise architecture leads to incorporate the architectural vision of the division into the products in development. • Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting expertise to internal teams and external clients. • Strong ability to utilize reverse-engineering skills to identify root cause of production issues • Participate in after-hours on-call rotation for production support.
