Job Description : We are looking for an Application Engineer with experience in design, development of enterprise systems, handling high volumes of data in the area of case management and reporting. The candidate would lead design, implementation, production support and monitoring to replace an existing case management application as well as help build the next generation investigations platform to support Financial Crimes Investigations and Reporting. Technologies involved includes Teradata, Oracle, SAS, Java/J2EE, XML, spring, Kafka/JMS, Angular7/ReactJS, Analytical and Reporting services (Tableau/Cognos/Microstrategy/PowerBI). Experience with enterprise level Case Management & Reporting solutions is ideal. The candidate will work closely with the Corporate Risk Governance organization to help in building and supporting an enterprise platform that can adapt to changes quickly to conduct Financial Crimes investigations. This is a unique opportunity to make a huge impact in Financial Crimes area and requires a candidate with thought leadership and technical strength. Required Qualifications •10+ years of web application development and implementation experience. •10+ years of Java experience •6+ years of experience in application & data architecture and solution design •5+ years of experience leading solution architecture projects •5+ years of JavaScript development experience •5+ years of J2EE experience •5+ years of Spring MVC experience •5+ years of Linux experience •5+ years of JDBC experience •5+ years of SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) experience •5+ years of extensive experience in Spring framework, distributed computing, JMS real time messaging, and performance tuning. •5+ years of extensive experience in responsive web design and development. •5+ years of demonstrated experience developing web based, J2EE solutions using Java, Web Services, Messaging, and related technologies. •3+ years of financial services industry experience Desired Qualifications •Quartz scheduling, CRON job development, Java batch development. •A self-driven and conscientious mentality and a commitment to innovate with high-quality work •Delivery focus and willingness to work in a fast-paced, mission-critical production environment. •Excellent communications and teamwork skills. •Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills •A BS/BA degree or higher in science or technology •2+ years of compliance and regulatory systems experience •Advanced problem solving and technical troubleshooting capabilities •Ability to facilitate design sessions •Ability to gather and document technical requirements •Ability to identify, plan, and document system solutions that are cost effective and meet regulatory requirements •Ability to work effectively in virtual environment where key team members and partners are in various time zones and locations •Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy •Ability to gather, analyze, and interpret large datasets •Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills RESPONSIBILITIES: •Participate in full-cycle software development including development, regression testing, deployment, and production support. •Partner closely with application clients to understand business needs and to create effective technical solutions. •Implementation of business process improvements involving (but not limited to) large volume of data processing efficiency,   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
