Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent field strongly desired. Minimum of five to eight years of technical experience. Ability to handle multiple complex projects simultaneously. Responsibilities Perform complex analysis, design, programming and modifications of computer programs for software. Write detailed specifications, write code, complete programming, testing and debugging of applications. Document forms, procedures and other documentation needed for the installation and maintenance of application programs. May be required to be on-call. Enhance knowledge of railroad industry as it relates to Railinc systems. Set high standards for others to follow. Ability to explain concepts with technical and non-technical staff. Works effectively with all co-workers; team player. Communicates effectively and in a professional manner. May provide technical and project leadership and assist in training less experienced analysts/programmers Assigned work involves broad range of complex design and programming.
