This is a hands on role and the individual must be must be able to perform all task assigned as well as the day-to-day administration function. Proven ability to make sound decisions. * Experience in administration, installation and configuration of IBM Web Sphere MQ product. * Experience in IT, working with Message Oriented Middle ware products. * Experience working as an IT Architect designing solutions. * 5-10 years or more experience with IBM Web Sphere MQ. * 5+ years of experience writing and reviewing complex technical documents, specifications, and requirements. * Strong architecture and design methodology background and 3+ years of experience working in a challenging environment with the technical architecture of a large enterprise. * Have a good understanding of the latest trends in messaging in the cloud both On-Prem and Off-Prem. * JAVA Coding Experience and installation & configuration of Open source Messaging products like RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ or Kafka. * Ability to look at application code and troubleshoot application connectivity issues preferred. * Experience working with an application development team in an agile software development environment. * Must possess a bachelors degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related discipline; advanced degree is preferred.
