Provides leadership in researching advanced web technologies to develop applications and analyze business requirements for web-based systems. Responsibilities include: - Technical analysis, design, construction and deployment of highly complex and scalable internet web-based applications - Demonstrates ability to apply Core Java design patterns, technical principles, tools and best practices - Utilizes application design knowledge with a thorough understanding of Core Java technologies - Participates in peer design and code reviews to ensure adherence to design, preparation of test data, testing and debugging of applications - Participates in Systems Integration Testing and migration of platforms and applications to production - Assures quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported area during project and release rollout to production - Reviews system specifications, participates in continuous tuning of the platform for optimal performance and scalability Preferred skills: • Around 7 to 8 years experience in full life cycle development involving analysis, design, preparation of technical documentation, development and implementation, production support, application deployment and environment support. • 7+ years of development experience with designing / developing web applications • 5+ years of MVC (Model-View-Controller); Spring Framework experience • 5+ years of Java and J2EE technologies; Servlets, POJO, EJB, Spring MVC framework; Hibernate / JDBC drivers: Protocol - HTTP/HTTPS; Platform UNIX, LINUX, Solaris • 2+ years of how to prevent XSS (Cross site scripting) and XSRF (Cross site request forgery) • Demonstrate ability to apply Core Java/J2EE design patterns, application of technical principles, practices, and procedures • Expert level skills with enterprise web-based development of application systems using core Java and J2EE technologies; Servlets, POJO, EJB, Spring MVC framework; Hibernate / JDBC drivers: Protocol - HTTP/HTTPS; Platform UNIX, LINUX, Solaris • Expert in writing framework, reusable components and J2EE/ Core Java design patterns to reduce development time. • Experience with ANT Script, Shell Script – Korn, Perl; Source Control – GitHub, Subversion (SVN) • Having very good understanding of middle-ware and application server concepts like Transactions, Security, Connection pooling, Load balancing and Messaging; Weblogic 12.x or higher, clustered server environment and familiar with system performance related tasks. • Demonstrated ability to construct software testing plans, and experience with different software life cycle environments. Verifies program logic by overseeing the preparation of test data, testing and debugging of programs.
