The primary responsibilities include leading efforts to design, build/code, test and install innovative, complex, strategic technology solutions. The Lead Programmer Analyst, Application Software is also responsible for leading efforts to maintain existing systems that are highly complex or critical to the business. The primary responsibilities are to: · Provide timely and accurate communication to management, project leads, project managers and business partners. · Work on multiple projects and manage time effectively. · Lead/participate in estimation meetings, iteration planning, requirements reviews, design reviews, and code reviews. · Seek out and share technical knowledge with other members across the organization. · Consult with project leads on identification of problems and suggest solutions for the resolution of issues · Seek out new technologies and ideas to add value to our products. · Lead execution of projects to successful delivery (design, build/code, test and install). · Re-engineer current systems to allow for flexibility, stability, and scalability while preserving existing functionality. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent work experience and technical training, is required. Also, required are seven (7) or more years in the following technologies: Java, Oracle, Spring, Hibernate, JSF, Web Services, Struts, and Java Portlets.
