General skill set with wide technology coverage and specialization in few areas (flexible) Mobile and WEB Advanced Distributed System Design SOA Integration technologies - variety including Mainframe lens Data Business Process Management/Rules Engines Business Intelligence Security Reliability Infrastructure Compliance Risk Management Responsibilities : * Enterprise Architects are responsible for architecting the technology future state that will enable business units strategies, architecting and building small, targeted POCs to explore the value of innovation ideas and architecting the solution for new technology implementation projects. * Day to day responsibilities are to work with the business and technical teams to understand requirements and work through the solution. * Sometimes vendor technology evaluations may be required to fulfill parts of the future state architecture. * Formal and informal discussions of the architecture are delivered to the team as well as Technology and Business executives. * Architects build solution frameworks and proofs of concept to further refine their designs. However, this is not a day to day coding position. * Enterprise Architects are engaged in strategy planning and high profile projects across the entire corporation. These efforts are high visibility and can have major impact on business performance. * Technologies and the businesses that Enterprise Architects work with regularly change and architects get a broad exposure to Key and continually get to acquire new skills. * Since Enterprise Architects are required by their job function to stay current in their skill set, the company sponsors training on an as needed basis. * These are leadership positions and the Architects get an opportunity to provide technical leadership in the areas that they work in. * This is a position of influence. Architects do not have managerial authority over the project teams. A balance between the tactical needs of the project and the strategic needs of the bank needs to be worked through and communicated to all project stakeholders. Required Skills : * Experience in architecting enterprise applications across the application, data, and infrastructure domains * Experience in managing and driving enterprise architecture capabilities within a large corporation * Experience with Internet delivery architecture, messaging and web service architecture, sales delivery platform architectures, and mobile architectures. * 7+ years experience architecting Java and/or .NET applications toward scalable, efficient, and maintainable solutions. * 7+ years experirence in Database design / SQL statement tuning in SQL Server, Oracle, or DB2 database technologies. * 7+ years experience working with distributed systems spanning mainframe, UNIX, MS Windows environments. * Experience with successfully architected and delivered mission critical / enterprise wide applications (as compared to small departmental solutions). * Defines the technology solution for a specific project and ensures that it is designed and constructed to meet current & anticipated future Business and Technology requirements * Technical leader on projects * Building Proofs of Concept (POCs) to explore business innovation ideas * Architecting and Building shared business services * Planning strategic IT direction and architecting how it will be implemented * Evaluating multiple technology solutions and selecting the best fit * Architecting and helping to deliver new technology im   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
