This would be an exciting opportunity to work with global teams to build up finance domain knowledge of Credit and Bonds and to understand trading workflows. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years Object-Oriented programming with at least 3 years of Object Oriented Python application development for a large scale enterprise application on the server side. This role requires a senior software professional who should be a self-starter and a fast learner. The candidate should have a track record of delivery on-time. An understanding of trade lifecycle and workflows would be a huge plus. The developer should have experience with multi-tier applications, messaging framework, and be able to work with minimal supervision. Technical Qualifications: High proficiency in Python and Java with minimum 3 years experience of Python Strong development skills across platforms and languages Object-oriented programming and design Database knowledge Understanding of messaging frameworks (MQ, JMS, pub-sub) Experience with multi-tier architectures Experience with source control system Experience with the full software development life cycle Experience in writing unit test cases XML/FPML/FIX knowledge UNIX experience Other Qualifications: Good inter-personal communication and influencing skills Team player and experience with global teams Proven problem solving skills and strong analytical skills Understanding other peoples code and work as a great collaborator Track record of delivery on time Understanding of Credit trading products (CDS, Bonds) highly desired Post-trades processing experience highly desired Experience on connectivity services with external venues (exchanges, brokers, clearing/settlement agencies) highly desired Experience of working with front and middle office highly desired   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
