Job Summary As a Senior IT Architect you will be part of a team that is delivering new technology capabilities to our Owners, Customers, and partners within Corporate and Technology. In your role you will help set the vision and guardrails that Agile delivery teams operate within. In addition, you will help to setup and support governance processes that ensure that team deliverables meet standards for Performance, Availability, Quality, Security, and Maintainability. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Creates, manages, and promotes the mid?term architectural vision and business case for technology roadmaps across the organization. Interfaces with senior leadership, business partners, architects and key stakeholders within the enterprise architecture team and other functional areas to ensure the optimal solution is designed to meet business needs. Develops a unified architecture that is scalable across the organization and ensures the use of industry and enterprise technology standards and develops roadmap incorporating industry best practices. Translates industry technology direction to business value and serves as a key advisor to stakeholders, providing new research and innovative approaches. Analyzes systems and processes from end to end, partnering with IT and business colleagues as appropriate. Provides guidance and enterprise?wide influence leading to solutions that are well engineered, operable, maintainable, scalable, and delivered on schedule. Advices in decisions regarding strategic partnerships, vendor selection and acquisitions. Accountable for the development of high level business cases, with the ability to influence leadership on the adoption of technical solutions and drive the solution to completion. Conceive and design new solutions to meet major IT/Divisional and corporate goals and objectives. Provide technical direction & design review for strategic projects and programs. Research and evaluate, or provide direction to others researching and evaluating, new technologies coming to market and their potential application to IT strategies and business plans. What we need from you Education Bachelors or Masters Degree in a relevant field of work or an equivalent combination of education and work related experience. Experience Required Skills – Facets, Edifecs, Maccess, Java, ESB e.g. Fuse,REST, Enterprise Caching Architectures e.g. Gemfire, Service Oriented Architect, Messaging Based Architecture e.g. Kafka and MQ, Micro Service Architecture, Public Facing APIs and API Gateways, Enterprise Integration Patterns, Data Transformation and ETL Preferred Experience with Web Application, Native Application, Property Management System, Mainframe, Big Data, Relational Data, Reporting and Analytics Technical skills and Knowledge Mastery in multiple technical areas, with vast knowledge of the capabilities and constraints of technologies supported Expert understanding of the designs and technology footprints of multiple products within a product family.
