They have applications that need to be done in both .net and Java. This is because a different team will take over ownership of these applications and the teams that will own them have their own stack. The front-end for both is Angular 2.0+ but the manager is flexible on the specific tech. He would prefer someone with .Net experience since they have a java developer but they will take either stack. Candidates dont need both .Net or java but they must be willing to learn the one they dont know so they can work on different applications.
