Job Description :

Sr. Application Developer role:

Oracle Service Bus experience for 95%.... Good to have Java. Its a major plus. Candidates need development and design experience using Oracle Service Bus 11g and/or 12c.


Java - Design Documents

Vendor Files

Interfaces

Produce deliverables to give to vendors

Soap UI - building unit test cases

System integration testing



Top Skills:

Design and development experience OSB 11 or 12c

Java XML - Soap web based - Rest is a plus

Expertise in SQL

Oracle

Would like 5-6 years of experience especially with integration

Strong work ethic and flexible to support issues and work overtime if needed to support a project

Normal Business hours; 8:30-5:30, 9-5

Likely will be extended



Currently have 8 developers on their team and have a new project for Credit Decisioning Software replacement. This will be for a Sr. Application Developer - Integration

Team is based in Chicago and all work onsite

Supporting LTE Lifecycle project

-Oracle Service Bus

-Java (some experience)



Telecom experience not necessary but Oracle Service Bus.

Lighter work in SQL and Oracle more getting info to troubleshoot information



Most Important technical skills:

Integrate OSB - currently on 11 migrating to 12

Building SOAP

Writing SQL using Oracle



Provide high quality technology solutions that address business needs by

developing and supporting applications within the mature technology and

leading edge technology environments. Utilize mature and leading edge

technology programming methodologies and languages. Adhere to coding

standards, procedures and techniques and contribute to the technical code

documentation. Remain aware of new technologies / programming

languages. Perform unit and system testing. Participate in application

support and enhancement activities.



Role Specific Responsibilities

· Specialize and develop expertise in one or more CLIENT business applications.

· As appropriate, participate in project planning sessions with Project Managers, Business Analysts, Technical Analysts and

development team members to analyze business / technology requirements and outline the proposed technology solution

· Participate in project estimating activities

· Participate in design reviews and provide input to the design recommendations

· Incorporate security requirements into design

· Provide input to information / data flow

· Understand and comply to SDLC in all planning steps

· Adhere to security and control policies throughout design, development and testing

· Ensure interface specifications are included in completed deliverable

· Identify applicable system platform, components, and dependencies

· Document the detailed application specifications

· Translate technical requirements into programmed application modules

· Develop / enhance software application modules

· Perform unit, system and integration testing and participate in capacity / performance testing of an application

· Create / test prototypes

· Complete assigned project deliverables within business / audit control requirements

· Identify and document ongoing maintenance requirements

· Participate in code reviews and ensure that all solutions are aligned to pre-defined architectural specifications
