Job Description :

we are currently seeking intellectually curious and results-oriented Software Developers (Full Stack) to fill long term contract openings located in Mason, OH.

These full stack Developers will work on large scale Insurance applications utilizing Java, J2EE, Microservices, Oracle and Agile/Scrum.
Skills Needed:

The candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of middleware: RESTful web service, Java business objects and database queries and scripts. The candidate should be confident in their ability to deliver defect free code in a fast paced, ever-changing environment, where new services are delivered to production bi-weekly using agile software development methodologies.

Qualifications:


The candidate must demonstrate the following experience qualifications:
Ability to effectively communicate and negotiate complex technical concepts to business personnel in English
Ability to convey small project impacts to timelines, resource capacity, and costs
Min. 5-7 years of Java development experience
Ability to convert business requirements to Java software implementation specifications
Ability to develop software development implementation plans, identify and effectively delegate software development tasks while ensuring code quality
Strength in root cause analysis/ troubleshooting and defensive programming
At least 3 years of concentrated database work.
Strong command of database design/development, specifically for Oracle
1 year of experience with Atlassian tools (jira, bitbucket, bamboo)
Min. 2 years experience with Maven dependency management tools.


Web Access – they need to be able to speak web access and service tier

Database – variety of them, but Oracle is the primary one (trying to do some MongoDB and/or Hadoop) – any RDMS required

Java

Spring Boot – REQUIRED

Restful APIs – build and construct

CI/CD – tools include bit bucket, elastic search, etc.

WebSphere liberty experience (should have this experience)

React.JS and Angular.JS (angular2) – must have experience of either one, an understanding of MVC would be good
