Our client has an exclusive agreement with one of the largest Retail Organizations in the world to provide all robotic systems and services for all of their product distribution centers across the US. Our client currently has systems in approximately 5% of this Retail Organizations distribution centers. The plan is to have these robotic systems in 100% of their centers over the next few years. The Senior Java Developer will play a critical role in developing business logic for a state-of-the-art Material Control System (MCS) responsible for directing next-generation robots in an inventory management system. As a Senior Developer, you will be part of a talented team of Software Engineers focused on developing industry-changing solutions. Required Skills: 1. Experience with Core Java development (v6 or above) 2. Experience with JBoss application server 3. Experience with Java Wrappers 4. Experience with Spring and RESTful Web Services 5. Experience with MariaDB or MySQL with SQL programming skills 6. Experience with Linux (ideally CentOS) 7. Experience with Java Swing 8. Bachelors Degree in Computer Science with 5+ year of professional experience Desired Skills (not required but candidate will have exposure to these skills in this role): 1. Knowledgeable in material control, warehouse management systems and/or robotics 2. Experience with robotics route planning 3. Java Development on MACs 4. Experience with IntelliJ/Idea 5.
