Qualifications - External Technology - A minimum of 5 years experience in commercial software development, with a focus on Java - Experienced frontend/native UI developer; - Proficiency in multiple programming languages, such as Java Script, Groovy, et al. - Multi-platform experience such as Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows Phone 8, Android, and iOS; - Java SE proficiency including Java Swing and Java FX and experience in multi-threading and concurrency; - BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering. Desired are - Mobile application development on Android and iOS; - Experience with C++; - Knowledge of networking protocols, network management, and network troubleshooting; - Experience developing software for network test equipment and/or other networking applications or devices. Soft Skills - Solid experience in getting from initial requirements, through concepts to a final, commercial product; - Applied experience in user centered design, design for usability and related usability and human factors evaluations; - Good analytical and problem solving skills to turn complex data in easily consumable presentations that address the customer requirement; - Proven ability in adapting to changing environments, and the ability to learn new tools and technologies as required; - Experience in a fast paced Agile environment with short, quick product release cycles; - A highly motivated self-starter with good communication skills to work with customers, management, product planning and development team members.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
