The API Developers role is to develop and maintain our APIs using various platforms, such as Microsoft .NET, Java, and MuleSoft, ensuring high levels of quality and durability of the API layers. They will also evaluate and advise on database technology components, such as software, hardware, and networking. Finally, the developer will assist in implementing and maintaining APIs and other integrations across the organization. Responsibilities: Maintain APIs and integrations Design and deploy data table structures used as sources for APIs Diagnose and resolve API access and performance issues Assure security of access to data via API GET and SET methods Develop, implement, and maintain change control and testing processes for modifications to APIs Create and maintain technical documentation Provide support during business hours, and participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours support Our ideal candidate for this position MUST possess: 5+ years of strong experience with Java/J2EE Hands on experience in Java / Spring / Spring Boot Strong Object Oriented programming skills and understanding SOLID principal Strong working knowledge on REST/ Micro Services Experience with Docker Experience with Kafka SDK GIT experience is required JSON and XML Experience Query Syntax Expertise with T-SQL and PL/SQL Solid presentation skills and the ability to present to audiences of 10-15 people Excellent verbal and written communication skills Willing to creatively engage with customers to come up with custom solutions Must possess ability to coordinate and work cohesively with a development team (no code-loners) Our Culture: Company Core Values: Embrace Transparency, Choose to Be Positive, Be Efficient/Systematize, Pursue Learning, Be Generous.
