Job Description Developer: Java, Oracle, PL/SQL, UNIX

4-5 new openings in Kansas City, MO. These positions are approved for subvending. Please only send candidates if they have a verifiable work history. In general, were looking for Oracle Developers to assist with the data migration of a couple huge Oracle Databases (FACTS and STAT) to the NRM database and to work on the SNAPS application which includes 911 Workflow and NEO database (with 50+ interfaces). Im assuming they need a combination of Java developers with experience on the Oracle Application Development Framework and Oracle PL/SQL developers for the data migration efforts. Ideal candidates will have both Java and Oracle. Java is used for the development/maintenance of the interfaces and PL/SQL will be used for the data migration from FACTS/STAT to NRM. These systems operation on a UNIX platform and UNIX scripting is required. Candidates also need relational modeling experience for efficient data loads. Position 2 NRM Application Developer Number Needed: 5 Site Address: 6100 Sprint Parkway Overland Park, KS Skillset: The candidate will have a working knowledge of telecom business and backend IT systems that enable operations functions to be performed, including Network Engineering, Network Rollout, and Network Operations, Network Inventory Management, Network Provisioning, Service Activation, and Order Management. Familiarity with Network Inventory, Provisioning, and Activation vendor products is a strong plus: ? Analytical experience in requirements definition, design, development, unit testing and implementation of applications ? Strong knowledge of Oracle data base schemas and tools ? Customer care skills including strong verbal and written communications ? Strong follow up skills ? Ability to work within a team environment where communication is essential ? Ability to work independently on assignments . Java, MVC, Oracle ADF Framework, Oracle PL/SQL, UNIX Scripting, Wireless 911 working knowledge, Wireless topology, Data Modeling, Data Synchrozination, and JSF.
