Description:

Title: Web Developer 5

Description:
To work as part of a team to design and develop core reusable components specifically designed to enhance the security level of a number of applications across a variety of application development teams. Successful candidates will have a good understanding of how to deliver reusable components to a broad range of teams across the enterprise footprint.

Acts as the highest-level technical expert on the development and implementation of highly complex, large-scale internet and intranet applications on diverse platforms, crossing multiple business lines. Uses expert knowledge of web technologies, including Java, Java Script, HTML, CGI, XML, database modeling tools and/or database interactions. Evaluates systems specifications for client area web site requirements and determines and implements the most efficient and cost-effective software/package solution. Provides leadership in researching and tracking new web technologies, developing service applications, and analyzing business requirements as they pertain to web-based systems. Oversees system quality assurance and consistency with installation and security policy and standards. Provides direction and guidance to less experienced staff.

Responsibilities to include:

• Develop and distribute reusable security software components.
• Develop component distribution strategy
• Component documentation strategy to include long term maintainability and distribution
• Identify and implement software security testing tools inside a continuous integration process.
• Establish a product security testing process; use internal and external resources to achieve testing goals.
• Conduct product security testing and source code review on core products as needed.
• Evaluate security of third party and open source components.

Basic Qualifications:
7+ years web development experience which includes the programming/ development of web applications.

Minimum Qualifications:
· 7+ years of Java software development
· 7+ years of HTML Software Development
· Demonstrated experience in providing written users guides
· Comfortable giving live product demonstrations
· Experience integrating software security projects into continuous integration builds
· 7+ years experience using JUnit or other unit testing tools

Preferred Skills:
· Experience using OWASP
· Knowledge of OWASP top 10 security vulnerabilities
· HTML 5
· Web Application Security Certifications
· Spring Security
· Proven ability to deliver sound security strategy to Web Applications
