Job Description Engineer: Java, Spring Framework, Oracle Databases, Autosys UNIX Operating System DevOps

Description:

Looking for a Systems/DevOps Engineer with hands-on-experience on in-prim and Containerized Platforms along with a solid understanding of modern DevOps concepts. Candidate will work in a fast paced environment providing solutions and enhancements to operational problems in subjects such as Monitoring, Automation Tooling, CI/CD, Secrets Management and Infrastructure as Code.

The ideal resource should be an experienced, self-motivated support analyst who can support multiple applications built on Java, Spring Framework, Spring boot micro services, Angular JS, Tomcat, F5 and Oracle databases.



Must have 8-10 years of experience as an application support analyst with below skills.



Responsibilities include:

· Providing day-to-day support for multiple applications built on Java, Spring boot micro services, Angular JS, Tomcat, F5 and Oracle database running on Linux and windows operating environments.

· Must be able to identify, recommend solutions and resolve difficult problems.

· Support members of the team in delivering backend services with high availability, low latency and scalability

· Build and maintain development and configuration management tools for our software and hardware components and systems.

· Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks.

· Work across various Agile teams to continuously improve, scale, and optimize the architecture of our code base

· Champion continuous improvements to the software release cycle, improving testing, QA and bug bashing

· Define, document and evangelize best practices with our team

· Support, respond, update and scale all infrastructure environments (DEV, SIT, UAT & PROD) to support development, testing, training and production of platform.

· Design and implement end-to-end infrastructure environments, test automation, infrastructure automation, and configuration activities

· Maintain and administer monitoring tools, while reporting on metrics to give insight into the health of the overall infrastructure

· Identifies gaps in current technology process and recommends changes to assure SLAs can be supported.

· updates/writes documentation and procedures and provides related training

· Acts as an escalation point for application support and troubleshooting of issues and/or production, application or system problems for various back-end applications, downstream and upstream applications and others.

· Coordinates resolution with users, vendors and internal infrastructure groups.

· Assures quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported area and oversees updating and testing of the business continuation plan.

· May coordinate project resources and provide guidance to less experienced analysts.

· Some weekday nights and weekend work hours expected based on scheduled activities and resource availability

· Ideal candidate will be an individual who takes ownership of a process and accountability for its day to day activities, is able to work independently or as part of a team, and seeks to work on a diverse range



Required Qualifications

•6+ years of systems support analysis experience

•5+ years of support experience using the Java/j2EE, Spring framework suite of products.

•5+ years Linux/Unix operating system experience.

•4+ years of experience of using Connect Enterprise,F5,FTPS/SFTP,SSH/SCP,SSL/TLS, application support experience
