Ability to provide weekly task and project status information; Ability to perceive missing, incomplete or incorrect system content; Effective verbal and written communication skills; A minimum two (2) years of experience using Eclipse and/or JDeveloper, or similar product; A minimum two (2) years of experience using one (1) or more of the following Application Servers: Weblogic, JBoss, Websphere, Glassfish and/or Tomcat; A minimum two (2) years of experience using a source code repository and/or code management tool for maintaining component and artifact versioning; Ability to follow instructions and requirements regarding program code enhancement and modification; A minimum two (2) years of large-scale IT project experience; A minimum two (2) years of experience using MS Office Suite; Effective system documentation and related writing skills; Ability to communicate design and task issues to technical and non-technical staff; Experience with one (1) or more of the following project methodologies including: prototyping, RAD, RUP, Agile, Scrum, waterfall, or Lean; Knowledge of IT project best practices; Ability to document and annotate program code and code design with appropriate comments; Ability to lead and direct other programming/project staff and work directly with end-users in defining and verifying application functionality; General project management skills including the ability to: Define scope of work; Adhere to required quality standards; Provide work definition; and Identify and communicate with impacted functional organizations and key stakeholders SCOPE OF WORK Consultant must perform all activities to the agreed upon project plan/schedule. Work must be completed according to the specifications and standards set by the State. DETR has several projects underway at the same time and as a result the consultant may be interchanged between each project as needed.
