Experience with Kubernetes, Docker and Unix are all required for this role. Client: SEI Investments Location: Remote (client based in Oaks, PA) Interview Process: One and Done Video I/V - 1 hour long Start Date: 1 week from offer Job Responsibilities: Designs, codes, and tests software modifications for assigned applications to address changes or fixes as necessary for problem resolution Collaborates with the Production Support team to assist with ticket investigation and resolution Independently prepares estimates of effort to develop and execute approved application changes in primary applications, prioritizes work assignments, and facilitates peer review of work products Coordinates and participates in system, integration, performance and acceptance testing Required Skills: 8+ years of professional software development work experience or 3 years of experience with a BS in Computer Science Experience with Alfresco or other Enterprise Content Management Tools (Documentum or OpenText are examples) Experience with working in software containerization (Docker) and Agile Software Development Experience with Kubernetes for deployment automaton including an understanding of Pod Concepts and Deployment (Kubectl, Helm chart) Experience building applications using Java, Spring Boot (Microservices), JSON, and JavaScript Experience writing Unix Commands, including Shell Scripting and writing Python Utilities Understand security concepts – Encryption at Rest and Transit, Authentication and Authorization concepts Strong communication and teamwork abilities Desired Skills: Kafka (both as a consumer and producer) Solid understanding of CI/CD pipeline Solid understanding of Git/Github   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
