We are looking for someone with a proven track record of designing, developing, and maintaining dependable Web Applications. -Bachelors or higher in computer science, electrical engineering, or equivalent (can be waived for corresponding experience) with 5+ years of relevant experience and 2+ years of leadership experience (agile software teams), developing sophisticated APIs, Enterprise applications specifically in Java, JSON/ XML Technologies, MVC, Spring frameworks. -At least 2 years RESTful APIs, Microservices and System to System API development experience. -Experience with design/build Micro Services based solutions using Java/JEE frameworks, -Experience going through the full software lifecycle development process using agile methodologies and practices with -source control (e.g. git) and agile planning and issue tracking software (e, g, Jira) -Extensive experience leading large-scale design and implementation of software projects that focus on separation of concerns and modularity -Extensive experience in iterative and incremental software development using CI/CD pipeline, Test Driven Development (TDD) and Agile Methodologies such as Scrum are highly desired. -Extensive experience developing full-stack web applications using modern frameworks in core programming languages (Java, Python, JavaScript) -Experience designing and developing backend services to include data model design and selection of the appropriate database -Experience deploying to production systems in a highly available system -Experience developing HTML5 applications using modern frameworks (e.g. AngularJS, Vue) -Experience focusing on security and understanding application security principles -Experience running load testing and analyzing the results to improve performance. -Experience Jenkins, GitHub, Maven, Azure DevOps and AWS technologies. -Good hands on experience with JUnit, Cucumber, Selenium framework for code testing. -Good understanding of JBoss/Tomcat servers and configurations. -Strong database programming skills working with SQL and NoSQL databases preferred. -Experience with Atlassian tool suite and Containers, preferred.
