Responsibilities : Responsible for improving the overall testing effort by designing and implementing automation frameworks and testing tools using programming and test automation skills. This may require working with existing tools such as QTP or creating new test tools. Additionally, the hire will be responsible for analyzing projects and processes to determine the best candidates for automation as well as the best method for automating each project and process. Required Skills : * 5+ years of programming experience with at least one of the following languages: C++, C#, Java, Visual Basic, VB Script. * Experience in automation testing using HP Quality Center and QTP, or other automation testing tools. * Strong technical skills in automation (either using automation tools or programming language). * Strong database skills in MS SQL Server or other databases * Must be able to work under self direction with minimal supervision and guidance, prioritizing own work and coordinating with other team members and business users. * Excellent people skills when interacting with developers and users.
