Experience with SQL Server 2005 required. • Experience with Windows 7 operating system and the Windows 2008 server environment. • Experience with Data Warehouse concepts, including the use of Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) tools and creation of data marts. • Ability to learn new applications and skills sets. • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing. • Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with business users, management, vendors, and peers. • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills. Ability to complete assignments on time. • Understanding of deployment methodology concepts including design, build, testing, and deployment. Highly desirable: • Prior experience with state tax applications, particularly tax compliance programs. • Experience with the RSI DiscoverTax application. The individual will operate with very limited supervision, within standards and processes established for the SCDOR Data Warehouse and over-all Agency and IRM procedures. SCDOR systems include extremely sensitive and confidential information; position requires complete discretion and trustworthiness.
