This role works on a dedicated team and collaborates with multiple technology and business teams. This role does not oversee the work of other people. Essential Functions Build and deliver software solutions that demonstrably provide business value while supporting the right blend of people, process, and technology Develop, support and maintain application software, including front-end, business layer, data layer and systems integrations Follow modern development best practices with a focus on technical rigor that directly supports business functions Promote and adhere to the definition of done in all solutions Stay current in new technologies, identifying and advocating for the targeted use of emergent technologies Partner and collaborate with Project Management and Business Analysis teams to align on business requirements and delivery expectations Collaborate with QA team to develop test plans and remediate issues discovered Ensure as-built technical documentation is captured Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Technical Skills Experience with C# and SQL Server 2008/2012/2014/2016 Experience with web technologies such as HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS, and Angular Familiarity with writing unit tests Demonstrated familiarity with the “culture of DevOps” Understanding of enterprise design patterns and practices Experience or familiarity with the Pick/Universe technology stack is a huge plus Microsoft development and database certifications a plus Other Skills Ability to maintain focus in an environment of rapidly changing priorities Stellar interpersonal and communication skills Education & Experience Requirements 2+ years in a hands-on web application development role Bachelors degree in related field or equivalent experience Health insurance industry and/or regulation driven (HIPAA, PHI, PII, etc.) development experience a plus Work Ethic Exhibit a customer-focused attitude and the ability to work proactively and efficiently with an appropriate sense of urgency Show the ability to work independently and collaboratively to meet deadlines without compromising quality Actively engage and be receptive to receiving diverse opinions to reach a common agreement Complete deliverables with a high degree of thoroughness, quality, and accuracy Promote a culture of trust in relationships with clients, coworkers, and supervisors Physical Requirements Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time with occasional walking Must be able to communicate face-to-face and on the phone with or without reasonable accommodation Vision requirements include close vision and the ability to adjust focus Must be able to use a keyboard and other office equipment Working environment is stable and noise level is moderate Must be able to work extended hours including evenings and weekends as required On-call availability as needed   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
