Job Description : PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Scopes and implements individual-level technical solutions with minimal guidance. Ensures quality of code within team. Perform other job-related duties as requested. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field; or equivalent education and work experience. At least four (4) years of experience developing web applications. At least 3 years of experience with web technologies: JavaScript, React, XHTML, CSS. PREFERRED: MS degrees in Computer Science or related field. Experience scaling solutions, demonstrating a mindset of "scalability". Working with a cross-disciplinary team of designers, product managers and software engineers. CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Proof of eligibility to work in the United States. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Ability to translate designs, wireframes and written requirements into functional systems. Proficient understanding of code visioning tools. Ability to effectively lead a small team through all phases of analysis, design, and testing. In-depth understanding of JavaScript, the DOM, and relevant concepts. Proficiency with browser based debugging and performance testing. Understanding of progressive web apps. Experience in custom, maintainable, scalable, and responsive front-end architecture. UX/UI experience with prototyping software and designer handoffs (i.e. Sketch, InVision). You are a creative problem solver, able to contribute simple solutions to complex challenges.
