ROLE SUMMARY: This position will act as the Technical Owner of ServiceNow at Madison Square Garden (MSG) including Re-Implementation of ITSM Module and Implementation of additional ServiceNow Capabilities at MSG. Will also lead development projects across the ServiceNow platform particularly in the areas of ITSM, ITOM and Security Operations. In this role, the candidate will work in a consultative manner gathering business requirements of internal customers, assessing business needs, and designing and developing business solutions. Some independent projects include workflow design and automation, systems integration, technical design, reporting, dashboarding, and business intelligence. SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS/ACTIVITIES: • Design and implement ServiceNow modules including ITSM, ITOM (Discovery), HR, ITBM, Security Operations (GRC) and Performance Analytics • Design, develop and implement business applications within ServiceNow • Understand the business needs and the needs to standardize processes, and build this into the ServiceNow platform design • Extend the ServiceNow schema via Integration to third party platforms and development of custom applications • Work in one (or more) scripting languages: JavaScript, Python, Perl, Unix Shell, Windows Shell • Utilize Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Actions, Scheduled Jobs - all scripted aspects of the ServiceNow system • Experience with ServiceNow client and server-side Javascript and the ServiceNow APIs • Scripted Web-Services, AJAX, Business Rules, JavaScript, SOAP, REST SSO-SAML Setup and Integration of ServiceNow to Other Applications Customizing ServiceNow using UI Pages, UI Macro & CMS using CSS, HTML, Jelly. • Custom UI Changes with usage of Web Technologies such as DOM, HTML changes. • Candidate will lead a team of several technical personnel at the engineering and support level including vendors QUALIFICATIONS: • 7 years experience designing and implementing large scale, enterprise ITSM implementations • Experience in end to end implementation of ServiceNow. • Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment • Experience designing, developing, implementing business applications in ITIL, CMDB, Service Catalog, SDLC, Change Management, and Incident Management • ITIL v3 certification • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist, ServiceNow Certified Application Developer • Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent • Candidate selected will have to travel several times throughout the year to other business locations.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
