The CJIS QA Manager is also responsible for understanding all of the areas of the system and providing institutional knowledge of its design and operation. Specific Services Required * Lead the CJIS testing team in creating testing plans, use cases, doing the testing, creating the testing results reports, and implementing the testing needed by the project managers. * Working in the collecting, documenting, and maintaining the business requirements for the CISS Project. * Provide documented processes to the testing team in the implementation of the required testing. * Being knowledgeable on all facets of Software Development Methodology (SDM) and assisting the CISS team on compliance for CJIS activities. * Supporting the resolution of defects found during testing, triage severity of defects with CJIS team and run meetings with the CJIS team and stakeholders as needed. * Providing general testing process consultation to the project team. * Leading testing activities for new releases for the CJIS team and CJIS stakeholders. * Reviewing and editing requirements, specifications, business processes, and recommendations related to the CISS Project. * Leading the development of the user acceptance test plan. * Providing input on the Quality Strategy and Plan. * Developing presentations for stakeholders, officials, and other interested parties when requested by the Executive Director, Program Manager or Operations Manager. * Participating in the RFP process and vendor selection. * Performing any duties as assigned by the Executive Director or Operations Manager.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
