The qualified candidate will collaborate with other development team members, analysts and architects in transitioning the Correspondence Archival and Retrieval Platform to the cloud infrastructure and improve our APIs. You will have experience in crafting, scalable, enterprise grade applications. You will be working within a team for development and support of the CARP system. This team handles the archives and interfaces for outbound customer correspondence. This individual will work on projects that transform and deliver documents stored in archives through online and batch interfaces. This platform is currently undergoing a technical evolution from mainframe to distributed processing and off mainframe to cloud storage. The Expertise You Have Design and architect complex solutions on a platform designed for high scale processing & distribution of large amounts of time series data and analytics Digital attitude, and proficient across a variety of implementation patterns for development of enterprise level API Services and consumption using modern frameworks and open source technologies. Have good communication skills and technical expertise to drive and participate in meaningful discussions. Experience working in an Agile development environment Detail oriented with strong problem analysis and issue resolution skills Ability to effectively balance multiple high-priority assignments Ability to meet project deadlines while maintaining quality work Excellent grasp of business process and operational workflow modeling. Experience working and integrating with 3rd party vendor solutions. 8+ years of hands on software development experience in Web services and API solutions The Skills You Bring Bachelors or any equivalent degree with computer science, math or engineering background Web Service, middle tier or backend process development in an enterprise environment Experience with Java/J2EE and OO programming SOA concepts and standard methodologies Understanding Design Patterns and frameworks Spring Batch and In-memory batch processing frameworks Developing SOAP and REST Web Service using JAX-WS (CXF, Spring-WS, etc.) Test Driven Development (JUNIT, etc.) JMS application development and concepts of reliable messaging and asynchronous processing Experienced in Continuous Integration using Maven/Jenkin/Udeploy Experienced in rule engines, such as IBM ODM   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
